Located in Southern California, Burnett has been producing fresh food since the late 1970s. Our original product line started with our Gourmet Deli Classics Corned Beef, Pastrami and Roast Beef. It all started because our founder Don Burnett saw a need for something bigger: a way for working families to have nutritious meals without sacrificing time and flavor.
In response to the changing habits of American consumers, we chose to specialize in fully-cooked, ready-to-eat fresh meals. We were the first to develop a microwavable beef pot roast and gravy for retail sale, and were early adopters of sous vide cooking to capture the natural juices and ensure consistent quality. A version of our Pot Roast received the prestigious award from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, which we attribute to our development staff and vendor partners.
Burnett is a second generation, family-owned business that produces fresh food for club stores, retail, food service, and industrial sales. All items are handmade at our facility and slow-cooked to perfection. Each production run is tested to ensure you receive only the best quality meals for your customers. While we have number of tried and true foods for you to choose from, we are mostly a custom shop and our London Cordon Bleu-trained chef can craft a recipe to suit your needs.
